| source By way of introduction, maybe a little bit about me? Well... I'm a city planner by profession, an historic preservationist and architectural historian by training, an art school graduate, a passionate design enthusiast, a rock ‘n’ roll girl, a devoted pop culture junkie, an avid record collector, a sometime DJ, a sporadic world traveler, an expert suitcase packer, a lover of fuzzy critters, a devoted neatnik and a would-be fashionista. I'm also a daughter, a grand-daughter, a step-sister, an ex-wife and a girlfriend. I grew up in Northern California in the fog by the beach. I lived there for 33-1/3 years of my life and am proud to be a fourth-generation Californian. Now I live in a lovely bungalow in midtown Memphis, Tennessee. Home of the blues, birthplace of rock 'n' roll and a wide-open world of wonder. In between stretches of being a homebody, I've traveled all over Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and throughout the United States. I have a big, orange kitty named Cheeseburger - so named long before I'd ever heard of i can has a cheezburger. I also have a teensy, speckled pup that I never call by his proper name - he most frequently goes by "small dog," "tiny hound," "little whisper of a dog," "biscuit-y biscuit," "SeƱor Doggins," "Mister Snuggles," and a host of other silly names. They both are lovely boys. They're passionate about chewy toys, lounging in warm patches of sunlight and making a home in soft, welcoming laps. So? Let's DO this! |
