Viennese architect, artist and designer
Josef Frank influenced Swedish design for decades. Frank collaborated with
Svenskt Tenn, an interior design shop in Stockholm, Sweden, beginning in 1934. He even adopted Swedish citizenship in the latter half of his life. His “Manhattan” print textiles and "Worldmap" prints have been applied to some really stand-out household items including serving trays, floor lamps, chairs and sconces. These below (available
here), among others, blow my mind!
