July 1, 2010 - Best of Lists

Lord knows I love a "best of" list. This one is right up my alley. Vanity Fair asked 52 experts (i.e., architects and designers) to choose the five most important works of architecture created since 1980. They named 132 different structures. The top 21, in order of popularity, are in a beautiful slideshow here. I was only saddened that I haven't been to visit more of them in person.
